Get ready for the ultimate balloon learning experience on July 21st and 22nd: Three industry-leading balloon designers, two days of learning, and one fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and your business! Anna, Elisabeth, and Melody are teaming up to share all of their industry tricks, formulas, and secrets
Day 1 - Balloon Business
Learn everything you’ve always wanted to ask about running a successful balloon business. From pricing to marketing, from LLC formation to tax prep, from social media strategy to video/photo editing to enhance your portfolio, we will cover it all. Elisabeth has taught hundreds of balloon professionals all over the country how to build and grow a successful 6-figure business, and she’s sharing all of it here with you.
Day 2 - Tropic Like It's Hot. Here's what you'll learn:
Melody - Fringe, fringe, and more fringe. Learn where to source materials, how to make your own fringe, and how to transform it into a ceiling fringe installation and even a fringe wall. Melody’s fringe designs have been featured in major publications and multiple television shows and commercials, and she’s teaching you everything she knows.
Anna - All Things Grab&Go. Anna has earned a reputation for creating easy-to-install grab&go items that look anything but. She will be covering how to create free-standing garlands that look just like a full-service installation, along with several other items that you can start selling tomorrow. Grab&Go items are money-makers, so if you’re wanting to grow your revenue this is something you won’t want to miss.
Elisabeth - Organic and Gorgeous. Elisabeth has perfected the organic balloon installation by honing a simple formula and a few key rules so every single organic design looks effortless, flawless, and awe-inspiring. She utilizes her research of the human brain and how it responds to visual stimuli to enhance her designs, and she will be sharing all of those tricks in this class to take your organic work to the next level.

About the Instructors:
Elisabeth Irwin
Elisabeth is the owner and founder of Pop of Color, a balloon design studio in Phoenix, Arizona, and the mother of two sweet girls, Charlotte and Emma. She started working with balloons before her oldest daughter turned one because, just like all of us, she was inspired by the beautiful balloon designs she had seen all over the internet. A few Youtube videos, many MANY hours of practice, and countless balloons later she made her dream of being a small business owner a reality and launched Pop of Color in March of 2021.
Since then, she’s been recognized for her work in several publications, and continues to find joy and gratitude in creating memorable celebrations for others. Her biggest passion is creating awe-inspiring, bespoke custom colors in her balloons so each of her clients receives a truly one-of-a-kind balloon design.
Balloons are more than just party supplies to Elisabeth; they are a work of art when done right. And that’s exactly what she intends to create for you!
Anna Tough
Anna Tough is the founder of Gather & Pop, a boutique party studio specializing in custom balloons, backdrops, and bubble houses across San Diego and Southern California. Passionate about creating memorable celebrations, Anna and her team help clients bring events of all sizes to life through on-site installations, balloon deliveries, Grab & Go garlands, and personalized helium balloons. From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, Gather & Pop is known for delivering elevated party experiences with creativity, style, and attention to detail.
Melody Pianga
Melody Pianga is the wife and proud mother of three children, as well as the founder and creative visionary behind Feathered Fox Designs, established in 2020. What began as a local balloon business quickly evolved into a sought-after luxury event decor brand known for its custom backdrops, immersive installations, and trend-setting designs — including the original creation of the iconic Disco Ball Wall.
Through her creativity and eye for detail, Melody has collaborated with major brands such as Tarte Cosmetics, Too Faced Cosmetics, Poshmark, Sexy Hair, Covergirl, Neutrogena, Betsey Johnson, Coach, Skechers, Matrix Hair Care, and Disney. Today, Feathered Fox Designs continues to push creative boundaries in the event industry while inspiring other women entrepreneurs to dream bigger and build boldly.

- Video taping/ recording of the class is strictly prohibited. Pictures are OK and encouraged.
- Anyone present in the classroom must pay the registration fee
- Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to participate or attend classes.
- LA Balloons reserves the right to cancel classes or substitute teachers if necessary. Students will be notified of any changes.
- Classes are non-refundable 14 calendar days prior to the class.
