Located in beautiful Los Angeles, California, LA Balloons is in the epicenter of many exciting industries and an array of thriving and diverse cultural experiences.

To make sure you’re set and ready for your trip, we’ve listed some basic information on Los Angeles to help you plan along with a few of the hottest spots to visit, both for business and pleasure.

Which Airport should I fly into?

LAX is the main international airport for Los Angeles, is about 45 minutes away from LA Balloons by car, and hosts majority of the major brands of airlines. If you’re looking for a closer option without all the hussle and bustle, we suggest looking into the Burbank Bob Hope Airport (BUR). Only 15-20 minutes away, this airport is smaller in size and easier to get in and out of but usually airfares tend to be a little higher when compared to LAX.

How do I get around?

Since L.A. is sprawled out across such a large space of land, it’s best to get from one place to another via a mode of transportation rather than expecting to walk.

Uber or Lyft

There is no short supply of ride sharing services available at any time of the day or night here in Los Angeles. Using one of these app services for your phone is a great alternative to renting a car.

Public Transportation

The L.A. Metro service is extensive with a combination of buses, subways and trains but it can be limiting on pickup locations and take longer to get around.

Car Rental Services

Want to have the wind in your hair and have the freedom to drive yourself around? L.A. has all the major brands of car rentals services available. Car rentals are available at both LAX and Burbank Airport for pickups and drop offs.

What business related must see locations should I have on my list?

It has everything from wholesale fabrics (for draping or pipe and drapes), large craft stores (for just about anything you need for centerpieces and decorating), mini craft specialty stores, the flower mart and so much more.
